Step One: Confirmation
of Availability
On receipt of your booking enquiry we will advise of the availability
and rate.
Step Two: Pay Deposit
To confirm your reservation either transfer the deposit of
£200 per week directly to our Bank Account
(Santander account: Sort code: 09-01-28; A/c: 65572952; Name: Dawn Chalmers)
or send a cheque to Dawn Chalmers, 50 Shakespeare Avenue, Bath BA2 4RF.
Once your deposit is in our bank account your reservation is confirmed. We will then send you a written confirmation. The deposit will be refunded 14 days after the end of your stay less any unsettled charges, such as breakage, damage or extra cleaning charges.
Step Three: Full Payment
Your full
payment is due 30 days before scheduled arrival. On payment you
will be sent confirmation of booking with directions, how to collect
the keys and other useful information about the house and area.
If you do not pay by this date you will forfeit your booking which
means that the booking is cancelled and the deposit retained.
During the Covid-19 pandemic extra Deep Cleaning will be made, however it should be noted that Tenants occupy the property entirely at their own risk, the owners accepting no responsibility for any illness that may occur during the letting period.
Tentative Confirmation

Reservation Confirmation
Due to high demand Wesdale is often booked well in advance and reservations are handled on "first come, first served" basis. To confirm your reservation either transfer the deposit directly to our Bank A/c (Santander BSB:090128 A/c:65572952) or send a cheque. Once your deposit is in our bank account your reservation is confirmed. We will then send you a written confirmation note. The full payment is due 30 days before scheduled arrival. If not paid by this date the booking will be deemed forfeit; the booking cancelled and the deposit retained.
Cancellation Policy
The deposit is non-refundable in case of cancellation with 30 days. Outside 30 days the owners shall be entitled to retain it unless they can find another occupier to take the accommodation whereupon the deposit will be refunded less a £50 cancellation charge.
The rental payment is non-refundable within 30 days of scheduled arrival. If the owners manage to find other occupiers they will refund so much of the final balance of the total charge as remains after the Owner's expenses & loss of profit on the cancellation or failure to take up the booking have been met.
Number of Occupants
Wesdale sleeps 8 people. If you wish to have more people staying you must request prior permission - otherwise it will be deemed a termination of the booking and the Occupiers will be required to vacate the premises forthwith.
Pets
Well behaved pets will normally be allowed if prior permission requested - otherwise it will be deemed a termination of the booking and the Occupiers will be required to vacate the premises forthwith >
Arrival Time/Departure and Cleaning
Arrival time is on a Friday from 5.00 pm Occupiers must leave Wesdale by 10.00 am in a clean and tidy condition ready for the next occupier. It may be possible to have the property cleaned on your behalf at an extra cost. It is incumbent on you to inform us within 24 hours of arrival if Wesdale is not in a completely clean and tidy condition on your arrival or if you have any dissatisfaction with the accommodation.
Responsibility
The Owners accept no responsibility or risk for loss or damage to any property (including cars, boats and trailers) of an Occupier or any member of an Occupiers party or of any person(s) entering the premises with the consent of any Occupier. We will not accept responsibility for any delay, additional expense or inconvenience which maybe caused directly or indirectly by events outside of our control - such as unusually severe weather, late arrival of transport, fire, floods, acts of God or the failure of any machinery or equipment. Whilst every effort is made to provide an honest & accurate description of the properties on our website & advertisements, these are intended as a guide only & do not form part of the contract.
