LOCAL BEACHES & COAST

Our coastline is blessed with some of the most beautiful cliffs and beaches in the British Isles, great for surfing and wild swimming, and winter walks along The Southwest Coast Path.

  • Polzeath
    A large sandy beach at low tide with gentle waves rolling in from the ocean - great for learning to surf and only 10 mins walk away.
  • Daymer Bay
    Softly sloping sand dunes and clear waters at the mouth of the Camel estuary. Dogs will love running around and taking a dip in the rock pools her whilst you enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Camel Estuary. Only 5 mins walk from Wesdale.
  • Tregirls
    This is the beach opposite Daymer Bay beach, and a scenic 20 min. walk from Padstow. The flat, white sands are backed by shallow sand dunes, which dogs will love exploring.
  • Lundy Bay
    Wander through woodland and look out over the sea cliffs and sandy coves with this gentle, enjoyable walk.
  • The Rumps
    Discover Bronze Age burial mounds as you walk the coast path around this rocky outcrop.
